Ingredient list

For Stuffing:

  • 1Packets Yippee! Noodles
  • 400ml Water
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • ¼Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • ¼Tsp Garam Masala, ½Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/8 Tsp Asafoetida, 2 Tbsp Mint Leaves
  • 1 Medium-Sized Boiled Potato
  • 5-6 Curry Leaves
  • Salt as per Taste

For Batter:

  • ½Cup Besan, ¼Cup Water
  • 1/8 Tsp Turmeric
  • Salt as per Taste

Method

  • In a pan bring water to a boil.
  • Add Yippee noodles and cook till they are done.
  • Strain the noodles and add a little oil. Toss and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan add oil.
  • To the hot oil, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and sauté for 5-10 seconds.
  • Now add turmeric, green chili and sauté for 5 seconds.
  • Now add boiled mashed potato, cooked Yippee noodles, garam masala, salt, and mint leaves. Mix well.
  • Divide this mixture into 4 equal-sized balls. Keep aside.
  • In a bowl takes besan, turmeric, and salt. Add water and make a batter of medium consistency.•Dip each Yippee mixture ball in the prepared batter and deep fry at medium flame till the vada turns slightly golden in color.
  • Add the remaining batter into the hot oil to make crunchy fried besan.
  • Open a pav bread and sprinkle Yippee masala powder. Place a vada and serve with crispy fried besan and fried green chili.
  • Repeat the same steps for the remaining vadas. Serve hot and enjoy!
